No 3mm at Watford Finescale which was a disappointment even though saw a few 3mm members.
Got to the show a lot easier than we have before the sat nav helps. M25 busy as ever in both directions. Usual middle lane hoggers!
As for the show, as I said a bit of a disappointment and not as busy as it has been in previous years. My fav layout was the Little Binfield light railway set somewhere in Berkshire
Another nice layout was Mulldale which was 0.16.5 Narrow gauage but thing that impressed me was the modelling especially the canal
As per is the norm Richard and I were looking for buses on bridges and found 2 in one go on Ashington an SR green period layout
Also spotted was Colin Wilson of EM fame doing the demo on their stand
Needless to say the opportunity was taken to taken the michael, but as ever Colin took it in the spirit it was meant.
It seems the weather has got to the level xing on Callowland which was being operated by some nice young ladies – good to see model railways is becoming a unisex hobby.
We did spot a bridge without a bus on it, mind you it was more London and North Western so a horse and cart would be more appropriate!
This was Foxup – Philip McGovern and the Foxup Five.
Nevertheless an enjoyable day and thanks to Mr.P for being chauffeur.
