On holiday this week at our new holiday home down in Weymouth.
Weather has not been at all bad for October and so we have been out and about.
Yesterday Kim and I walked into Weymouth only took just over and hour and then had a wander round Weymouth.
We had a wander down to the harbour. The harbour railway station is a sorry state
However they are restoring a sailing ship
After a spot of lunch we caught the bus back to the site which was quite a pleasant journey, even going round a housing estate named after locomotive engineers!
A quick break and then off to look at some of the buildings near the site.
St. Andrews church is just up the road. A lovely church and yard with rangers bell ringers.
We also found a pub the Spice Ship so a pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord was consumed. They also had a fish and chip shop next door so that was dinner sorted – wot more could a man ask for!
