Had a very enjoyable day yesterday at the St. Albans show helping operate Peter Bossom’s Bulverhythe.
Time flew by and no sooner had we got there it seemed we were helping Peter pack up the layout for the homeward trip.
As for the show – like many a big shiw these days it’s a case of spot the layout. What layouts there were, we’re good quality no doubt added to by two 3mm layouts but then I am biased! The other 3mm layout was Paul Hopkins, Redford Junction a splendid example of the southern genre as is Peters.
The exhibition was interesting to say the least, lots of good trade but let down by poor lighting and my feet were frozen all day as the halls seemed extra drafty.
Still a grand day out as a friend of mine who likes cheese and crackers would say.
Here are a few photos, not many due to the poor lighting.
