Halstead: O scale in five square feet

I’d love to be able to put together an O scale micro layout. Things in O scale are big. I’ve built a few models in O, mostly narrow gauge, and each time was really surprised by just how big models built to 1:48 are compared to the 1:160 and 1:120 scale models I’m just so used to normally. For me though, what I find so cool about O scale models is how many new materials you can use to make your models from. I love building models and I really like working with card stock and paper. O scale is a place where you can do this and just really enjoy the process.

I was a little restless this evening and thought I’d browse around the internet to see what examples of micro layouts might be out there and built in O scale. I can’t be the only train guy…
