Branching out with Barclays

Kirkmellington - a journey into EM

As another show approaches, Farnham and District MRC Exhibition 2017, we have taken delivery of another Barclay 0-6-0. Expertly built for us by Karl Crowther, this is a blend of parts. The body is a resin kit by the now defunct ARC models fitted with an RT Models Giesl chimney and many other detail parts. All of which is mounted on a High Level Kits Big Barclay chassis with some custom made parts. A Digitrains Zimo sound chip and sugar cube speaker complete the build.
I need to add Railtec NCB transfers, ModelU crew and some weathering to finish the loco.

The future West Ayr Area No24 on test on Hebble Vale

Of course we already have our High Level Big Barclay, No8, as stablemate and in 2018, maybe even a 16″ Barclay 0-4-0!
