London Transport Museum Store, Acton – 2
Excuse the title, but popped into Medstead and Four Marks on the way home to see the arrival of the last train of the day.
Due to the Butts bridge works outside Alton till July all trains are terminating at Medstead.
Saturday saw a run down to Winterborne Earls, nr Salisbury to visit 3mm Westfest organised by local member Vic Freemantle.
Always a popular event and judging by the full car park pretty busy too.
The Society shop and Seconhand were their plying their trade along with 3smr and members with delights to offer, not forgetting Peter White with the Society finescale wheels.
Now not only were there goods to be had but also a number of layouts on display.
Mike Corps Heybridge Wharf
Peter Bossom – Watlington (Sussex)
Nick Salzman – Lananta has been entered into the Cameo layout competition due to be judge in May so good luck Nick!
South Downs & Solent Modular
Jerry Clifford of Bath Green Park fame was also there with one of his 2mm modules
