February it must be Croydon MRS modelling competition

An event I always enjoy in the winter months is judging the entries for Croydon Model Railway Society. My fellow judge was Greg, Chairman of Beckenham & W Wickham MRC.

We were impressed by the selection of entries especially in the buildings catergory. Congratulations to those that entered and of course the winners, here are the photos

Well done all.

Croydon Model Railway show this weekend

Must be October it’s Croydon show this weekend.

Good luck to Mr P and all at Croydon MRS this weekend.

Croydon MRS competition

Followers of my blog  may recall that last year I had the honour of judging the competition for Croydon Model Railway Society. Again I was invited to judge the competition and the fine models submitted by members.

There were some worthy winners but in saying that all the entries submitted are winners and I awarded a few highly commended too.

Thank you to Croydon MRS and the members for inviting me to judge.

Croydon Model Railway Society – modelling competition

On Wednesday night I had the privilege of being asked to judge the Croydon MRS modelling competition.

A very high standard of entries again this year and I was asked to judge alongside Terry Kempton from Orpington Model Railway club.

A lot of work had gone in to the entries
And congratulations to all that entered.

Here are the pictures
